EZ GO TXT backfire, smoke
OK, so, I know this is probably an exhausted topic, but looking for some guidance. I've done searches, but can't really find what I'm looking for. My 4 stroke EZ GO with a 295? (not sure how to tell between 295/350) backfires when letting off the gas and also has a puff of white smoke when getting into the gas. It's been doing it since I got it about 9 months ago. I've removed the carb and cleaned it, ran seafoam through the fuel system, I have adjusted the governor (for speed) and throttle cable, yet no change. I don't really see an adjustment on the carb anywhere? I'm going to put new plugs and air filter in, but know that won't fix it. My next guess is a valve adjustment?? Not sure how to do that though...any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: EZ GO TXT backfire, smoke
Sounds like it could be a timing issue.
