1990 3pg
I have a chance to pick up some 90' marathons, my question is the 3pg engine. I have had good luck with some 86' 2pg carts and trying to avoid any major stumbling blocks with restoring these. I realize not a lot changed with the basic engine design but I noticed the muffler replacement is quite pricey. Just looking for some opinions. Thanks.

Re: 1990 3pg
I have a 91 3pg and did a total rebuild of the engine and find it to be great. Lots of parts available also even with clutches and high torque springs for driven clutch. If a muffler is bad it is usually in need of a burn out or known as barbequed. I may do it to mine if needed in my next check up.
Engine sits better in my book also for repairs when needed. My thoughts. |
