Brake switch confusion

I have a 2013 EZGO TXT factory front light bar, tail light, with a VSM 900 turn signal switch installed. Trying to figure out how to hook up the brake switch. It's standard mount to the pedal pressure switch. Two wires coming out to break the connection. Rear tail light has a 1157 bulb with a red, black, white wire. All works well. There's four wires coming off the factory harness. Three wire coming out of the tail light. HOW THE HELL DOES THAT WORK! The wiring diagram I have shows the brown wire for the brake switch. plug in the brake switch you lose the turn signals. WTH am I missing! Thank you again.

Oh and yes I've read all the threads about the old model brake switch mod. Not getting me anywhere.
