Batteries bubbling when press the accelerator
Pick up a 2002 EzGo ST 36V with a PDS system, Replaced the controller and motor with brand new and also replaced the wires from motor to controllers and batteries. Charged up the old batteries and checked with a volt meter was reading about 36.8 volts. figured that should be enough to get it to move. when i press the pedal down it makes an attempted chug or two and the batteries sound like there bubbling/boiling. when I load test the entire battery bank with my multi meter it drops to voltage in the 20.'s so I assume the batteries are shot. note when I bought the cart the previous owners didnt take great care of it and the batteries were left untended for at least 2 years allowing them to freeze judging by the slight bulge in them. any insight or validation to this would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Batteries bubbling when press the accelerator
The batteries are definitely shot-and dropping way below the voltage required to even run the cart.
