Default Spindle lift kit

Are 3” spindles lift kits really that bad? I don’t need a 6” lift, but a 3-4” lift would work well....thoughts?

Most just do not like them because the camber will usually be very positive and no adjustment. The tow is easy with the tie rod ends.

All Sports and many others will make a 3-4" Double A-Arm lift kit.

The Jake's 3" spindle lift will almost double the turning radius. I don't know about other brands. A friend purchased it and asked me to install it for him. I didn't like it right away. He eventually hated it. It was terrible to drive.

About 6 moths later, I replaced it with a 3" All Sports kit. Excellent, just like NoleFan4Ever said above.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with PingEye3. I have a 1999 DS with a 3" Jakes spindle lift and the turning radius did not increase substantially if at all. The ride and handling is no worse than stock, but it depends on what you are using the cart for, I use mine mainly for slow cruising around the marina/campground and occasionally on the street up to 23 mph. And when I was looking at lifts the spindle lift was less expensive than the 4" a arm kits. YMMV!

Another alternative is a z lift. It retains the stock suspension and steering geometry. Its less expensive as well.

Understand your disagreement. This was a one time install on a 2012 Precedent. Something was afoul on that one for sure. This one is used on golf course only and its only speed increase comes from larger tires used with the lift, otherwise stock. This guy has flipped it once and hit a tree on another occasion, he need less speed...

I might have embellished a little on the ride and handling but not on the increased turning radius.

I have had the same luck as PingEye3. I have a 2011 right now with it from my family and the camber (Positive) is terrible and the she needs a half-acre field to turn it around in. I have made all the adjustments I can and it is what it is until I can replace it for here. (Which will be a few months as I have several things I have to catch upon from being gone and I have to keep my job - Lol)

Nole, is the 2011 a DS or a Precedent?
