Default Short in System

1997 electric cart will run for about 45 mins., then stop. After sitting for a while, it will go again but not as long. Where do I start checking?

Welcome to BGW

can you look at the pic, and tell us what drive system you have, I don't think it is a short, it sounds like your controller is going bad

I thought 2000 was the first year for them, but I might be wrong.

Plug your cart's serial number in and you'll get a description of your cart as built.

Did not locate serial number (not located where it supposed to be)!
However, I have a 1997 TXT model with lift kit.

YES, my wife has been driving slow. Could it be that simple??
