Short in System
1997 electric cart will run for about 45 mins., then stop. After sitting for a while, it will go again but not as long. Where do I start checking?

can you look at the pic, and tell us what drive system you have, I don't think it is a short, it sounds like your controller is going bad  |

What year is your batteries??,are all of your battery cable clean and tight, tell us more about the cart, how do you use it??, and does it have a lift and big tires, or is it stock??
sounds like the controller is going in to thermal shut down, do you drive around slow??, |

Did not locate serial number (not located where it supposed to be)!
However, I have a 1997 TXT model with lift kit. YES, my wife has been driving slow. Could it be that simple?? |
