club cart computer

I have a new controller and potbox which I don"t know where that goes.when I install the controller do i need the computer and where is the potbox goes.I remove the computer from another club and trying to update mine.I will be putting 4 12v marine deep cycle batt which they work on my other cart.All the diagrams I found don"t show the stuff I am trying to do, any help please.Thanks

Nobody can answer your questions without the info of the cart you are working in.

Also marine bats are just a bad idea for a golf cart.

Does the pot box output match the controller input? 0-5k or 5k-0? What's in the cart now? Why are you asking such general questions?

The cart is a 1980 but I just used the frame everything else is new the controller and potbox I got from plumquick and the computer I found from a friend do not know what year it is the comp. I would like to install the pot and controller but not sure If i would damage anything so i am playing safe before i start messing with it.Can I wire the controller and pot to the motor and test the motor or will i damage the motor also where the pot goes.Thanks again
