Solenoid upgrade
I'm working on a 97 CC 48 V Regen I that has been converted with an updated 500 amp controller. As part of the conversion the inboard solenoid has been by-passed by leads form the controller to the motor connecting to the same post. The outboard / passenger side solenoid is functioning as usual. My question is - is there any reason to upgrade the inboard solenoid in this application and which solenoid is recommended for this setup? This conversion was done by the PE but seems to work fine. I've completed changing all the ables to 4 ga. and think the solenoid should be next.
