So I hooked up a battery and tried to get it to do something with no luck. I traced the wires from hot to microswitch 3 and found that MS3 does not carry current across it. It should be activated when MS2 is closed, which is when the gas pedal is released. Not sure I understand what that is all about yet. But if MS3 needs to work for the cart to run, I think it's bad.

Also it appears that the MS for reverse in the F/R assembly is not even hooked up. WHA???

Hmmmm... I've never had any issues with my cart, the setup is a little newer on mine anyhow, so I'm not sure I can be a whole lot of help on this one. Tons of guys on here with these old EZGOs though, one of em should be around shortly with some good info.
