Way to verify whether OBC is working or not?
Is there a way to test the on board charging computer to see if it is functioning properly?
Have been told by local guy that the OBC is out on our cart and that is the reason why the battery light is on until the cart starts moving, then goes off. It apparently is still taking a charge as it will make 18 holes with no noticeable problem. If battery cable ends were corroded, or other cable ends corroded, would that possibly cause the battery light to come and go like it does? I would think that if there was corrosion on several cables, it may hamper the ability to charge the batteries fully. Any suggestions? Also, when replacing battery cables, is there an advantage to going with 4 gauge cables or would 6 gauge cables get the job done? |
