I've just installed a new coil assembly. While there does seem to be a some improvement on the whiplash start, it still doesn't seem quite right. It's currently in my warehouse which has a concrete floor. When I press on the pedal, the tires will "chirp" a bit....especially in reverse.

Any other suggestions on what I should to check/test?

This cart also has a speed wiper throttle assembly. Essentially a single contact wiper moves across several stationary pucks which are connected to each of your coils. Do you see where that happens? There is prolly a cover on the speed wiper. (maybe not ... not sure of your carts year) You are possibly not engaging until the second puck, not at the first. It is best top test this stuff with the cart on jacks and the seat bottom removed.... Anyway, the cause can be the pucks or the cables or the wiper? You have to see why it is not making a connection on the first cable going to the resistor coils..... Here are some picks of the parts I'm talking about below.
