Re: Positive Battery terminal Sparks when I press the Accelerator
I think it has something to do with the fact that--
Press the pedal down all the way - huge sparks press it just a little - small/almost no sparks And it does not move when pedal pushed down. |

Move that battery farther into the pack and see if the problem goes away.

Re: Positive Battery terminal Sparks when I press the Accelerator
oh yea when I had it apart I Cleaned the terminal and wires very good with baking soda till they were shiny.. still having the same problem..
Is there anything that could cause this that doesn't have to do with lose/dirty battery connections? I know everywhere I read on here says it's most likely loose/bad connections but I have a hunch it's gotta be something more... I gotta figure this out, as I just ordered 6 brand new t-145's and I want this fixed before I put those bad boys in.. :) |

Re: Positive Battery terminal Sparks when I press the Accelerator
Ok I cut off the end of the cable, which wasn't even too badly burned, crimped a new connector to the cable and heat wrapped it tight. Then I hooked the battery back up with the switch in the tow position and turned it to run and the same thing happened... I can safely guarantee that the cable is not the problem.

Re: Positive Battery terminal Sparks when I press the Accelerator
Maybe time to look beyond the cable ..... When all of this sparking was happening, was the cart trying to move?
Can you post pics of : The battery bay The cable in Question The controller Did it start doing this all of a sudden? |
