Russ, It looks like you might be happy with your purchase. Did you make any changes in the controller after you installed it? Just wondering since mine's fixing to get its first test run, probably this afternoon. Is there any reason to hook it up to the laptop and program or is it already programmed for the cart it was ordered from, or do they all come at a generic setting and you have to make performance adjustments to satisfy your desires? |

Re: Will a light foot improve runtime?
Randy,
Alltrax controllers are preset to 100% power when they are shipped. You can reduce the power but not raise it. You can also change the throttle ramp curve but they are really just fine out of the box. |

Re: Will a light foot improve runtime?
Just like he said,
Power wise it comes maxxed out. I turned up the "throttle down" and the "brake power", but it is all personal preferences. Put it in and drive it for a while, then start tweaking till you get what you want. I wouldn't play with the throttle input though!!! Yes! I am very happy with the up-grade! Enjoy, Russ. |

Like mine the way it is. I always unlock my park brake manually. If you press the accelerator pedal to unlock, it will jerk you back pretty good!
