Re: Why would I need a lift for 22" tires?
4" is good for 22"tires, spindle lift (wheel on a stick) are easy to put on, they add more stress to other steering componets. Riding mowers and tractors have spindle lifts.
drop axles are the way ezgo would lift it, if that says anything. I would use an allsports drop axle with spindles for your model cart if it were me doing it. I doubt the little difference between them will make much difference when only going 20mph. You'll probably want to upgrade your cables if you haven't already. |

Re: Why would I need a lift for 22" tires?
You do not need a drop axle on a campground queen. The stock electric PDS will go about 15mph and kept to the camp roads and trails will be fine with a spindle lift. We really abused Jakes 3 & 4" spindle lifts in the Dozer cuts at work and never had a problem. Jakes makes a tough spindle ....Remove any speed chip you may have in the PDS cart before you put the big tires on

Re: Why would I need a lift for 22" tires?
for the newer carts we use the 5" spindle lift.. they work great.. steering is wonderful to..
the blue carts have 20" tall tires and not lifted... the the white is a 5" spindle lift with 22/10/10 tires... |

I'm going with the 4" drop axle. I realize that the spindle lift is all that I would really need but they just look kind-of flimsy to me. I like the beefy look of the DA. |
