Believe it. It started with a price match with another dealer and it is what it is. Not every dealer wants to get rich off of the sale of 1 cart.
Here in Florida, there's approx. 6 golf cart dealers within 15 miles from my house. Very competitive.
Not sure how your comments have really helped me in anyway but... Thanks?

I think the salesman is pointing out every little detail to make it seems like a lot is going on. I could be wrong though.

Sounds like you have done alot of research about this cart. I think if I were you I would hold onto your money for awhile and take a while reading about golf carts and the mechanical end of them before you go around shunning PROs that work on them for a living. Just my 2 cents.

That was my point before - Still doesn't add up - If the place knew everything, they would know that you shouldn't lift a PDS cart. If they do AND offer a warranty - LOL, looks like he'll be getting a free controller in the future.

Not sure the Pro I shunned "Fleck". I apologize deaply if i've offended someone. I'm new to the golf cart forum concept. I signed up with this site because I thought it was a collaboration of people sharing knowledge and buying tips.
I was just looking to get a few questions answered. I now know that there are a lot of people here that sell and advertise so I'll try to stay away from mentioning prices.
I am very confused though on comments like, "good luck on that deal....just parts and cart would be $3800 for me that no labor or profit".
What is this implying? That the cart is going to shoot craps on me because of the price? It would be nice to back that up with what I should look out for.
All I know is that the business I'm buying from, has been there 24 years and they just bought a fleet of (54) 2006 EZGOs and (82) 2007s. Maybe they got a great deal on the carts. I don't know. They seem very upstanding and have pointed out how some companies are selling flood carts. I can watch the entire build if i want as well. But again, I'm looking for advice on speed and torque so I'm not sure the relevance of price.
