It would be nice to figure out a way to adjust these light kits that kept the stock look. No washers or gaps at the top of the lamp assembly, or flat nose etc.
It would have brought them into much better alignment, had I kept "tweaking" the cowl, but I just didn't want to put that much torque on the body panel. It had not been long since I spend time and money painting the cart, and really didn't want to risk stretching the paint. I just deciding that it wasn't worth that to get the lights pointed down a very small amount. You'd have probably hear me crying if my paint had splint across the middle of the front cowl.

Glad you didn't go too far with it. I would have felt pretty bad for giving you
the idea.
I have no plans to paint mine as it spends a lot of time in the woods getting scratched up so had not thought about the effect on a nice paint job.
