i think i know the answer just need comformation
picked up an 06 pds this weekend. installed the speed chip and got a full charge on the batteries. going up a hill it seems very very weak. also the batteries do not seem to be lasting very long either. also i took the chip out and it doesnt seem to be any difference on the hill. (small ditch). so my guess is batteries need to be replaced. any other thoughts.
one more question i took the gps on the road after charge and it seems with the chip up hill about 8 mph and down hill max is 19. is this normal or will it pick up with batteries. thanks for the help |

When I was using the "Chip" in mine, I noticed no difference going up hill. I only saw a little improvement on level and definitely down hill, since there was no regen brake active.Others will add more to your thread.
