I finally get to enjoy my EZ-GO !
Well after a long clean-up process, new wiring, cables, batteries, and a new controller last week..... I finally get to use my cart. I have had a blast using it and it has all been worth while now.
Here are a few pics from when I got it home and a few "after". Thanks for all the help that many people provided me and thanks for this website and keeping it going. I sure would have never done it the "right way" with out this place. |

Re: I finally get to enjoy my EZ-GO !
no, actually that is the original paint(92'), I just took a razor-blade and got all of the different colors of paint off of the top of it, I guess it was used by a commercial painter of some sorts...the charger still has all of the colors of the rainbow on it and the cord...but works. I got all the paint off I could with the blade and then started waxing. I had too far to go to take a chance on painting it....but after getting some use out of it...I will break down and start over again and paint it some time in the near future.
I was scared of not being happy with the performance of it from reading stuff on here....but after getting it going...it is worth a paint job. I work at a place that uses about 10 different g-carts and some of them are lifted-and/or faster, but I am happy with my "old school"(sparky) ride. G-man had me hang in there and now I am glad he did, I will have this one from now on even if I do end up with another "project" on down the road. |
