Need additional keys cut for unique 2020 EZ-GO L6 Express Elite cart
Does anyone know how/where I can duplicates made for my 2020 EZ-GO L6 Express Elite which has a unique key switch?
I had the dealer install a unique key switch for my cart, but it only comes w/ 2 sets of keys. Between the wife & kids/friends, I don't think these will last long. I tried a Yale 13 at ACE Hardware, but it didn't work. Appreciate any help. Thanks PS: Not sure if it matters, but the dealer said that the unique switches he had in stock didn't work for my cart & he ordered it for us. Any reason why the key switch assembly for my cart would be different than the other (presumably non-Lithium carts)? .. just curious |

According to the Hillman cross reference manual, the following blanks fit EZ-GO
HILLMAN: B1 Ilco: 1098/B1/B3 Silca: B1 If you have a key cutter nearby that carries those brands, possibly give them a try. I believe many of the different EZ-GO cart models have different switches but they likely all use the same blanks. I need to get some copies for my RXV and am about to go out on the same mission. |

Is there a black cover on the head? I think there is a number under it.

The elite does seem to use a different plug on the keyswitch.

For what it's worth, I was finally able to find a local locksmith and he used a JMA HUD-4 key blank and it works fine.

Thank you for the info. Just what I needed. We lost 1 of the 2 keys in the first week of owning it. Now the other is missing (but know I'll find it). I'm going to get several cut.
I was looking at this on BuggiesUnlimited: LINK This would not work? You'd need an actual key cut? |
