Re: Allied Lithium batteries?
Allied have a terrible customer service record, will not refund and argue there are no issues.
This product is dangerous if used in an RXV as they cause the carts to lock up or freewheel when the brake is pressed. Zero support and a lawsuit waiting to happen. I am reporting them to the FTC for ignoring safety issues. |

Re: Allied Lithium batteries?
Is anyone running these allied Allied batteries with upgraded motors and controllers. I'm running an Alltrax SR40048 and a AMD Raptor. I purchased the 60ah pack knowing it was marginal and it is. The current limiter is kicking under load. Just wandering if the 90ah would solve this? Anyone ran into this yet?

The "12V" replacement lithium batteries are a very bad problem, just waiting to happen. When one of those batteries starts its "open circuit under load" or "open circuit during regen" tricks, you can pretty much count on saving up the money for buying another controller real soon. RXV controllers will not tolerate the battery connection dropping out under load or during regen very well! |

Re: Allied Lithium batteries?
Just curious - does anyone make an aftermarket controller for RXV? I am considering a second cart - my current cart is a Yamaha YDRE with 14 Leaf modules and Alltrax controller. Good Yamaha carts are not that available used around here anymore. I like the EZGO RXV models with aftermarket wheels and tires that I see around here. I will convert whatever cart I get to Lithium.
