Default In search for a drop out harness 102355201

I have an early club car DS that is starting to experience main drop out. I don't think David has any more and believe the part is no longer available. Does any one know where I can get one? Searching the internet but can not locate.

It is much cheaper and not very hard to solder the required diode in the harness for the DS IQ.

It is also very easy to start an interosseous infusion in the tibial plateau. I know I have done it before. If you could give me a little more detail on the diode, I'll talk you through an infusion if you ever need one.

And I do appreciate all the help you give. I read all of your posts. Just get lost sometimes.

Sorry, busy at work this morning and did not have a chance to give a full answer in the previous post.

As You know Club car no longer sells the "main drop-out harness" that plugs to the Tow/Run switch to fix the issue, but since it is just a diode, you can just solder one on the wiring to correct the issue.

Get a 10 amp diode like this:
https://www.amazon.com/20-Pieces-10A...=3SHWVB1N1AG62

Cut the gray wire a few inches away from pin #9 at the Controller 16-pin connector.

Solder the diode inline with that wire, the diode stripe side goes toward the Controller 16-pin connector.

Here is the DS IQ wiring diagram for reference:

Out of curiosity, are all IQ systems effected by this problem? Or is it just certain years? In addition, if one has upgraded their controller to an Alltrax or other brand, would that take care of the issue?

I am curious, what is interosseous infusion in the tibial plateau?

The problem was around for just about all years of the IQ system.

Starting late 2003 right before the Precedent IQ debuted in 2004, the diode started to appear in the harness so the "drop-out" pig tail harness on the Tow/Run switch was not required.

The pin #9 harness diode existed in all Precedents IQ until the system was replaced with the Excel Controller which did not have the issue.

On the DS models it was not until 2011 that the Controller was modified as not to require the harness diode in pin #9.

The Alltrax Controllers do not have the issue.

Do you recommend doing this as a preventative maintenance thing?
