What you have shown and where you found it I would say turn signal flasher.

That makes sense. I'm going to relocate it out of precaution because the location is easily accessible from anything coming off the tire. The lights are direct wired to two batteries and on a toggle so I don't see this being the root cause of the cart losing power altogether. Objections to that logic?

First time cart owner and definitely not an electric expert either. Just enough knowledge to be dangerous!

Unless the batteries are weak having the lights on can have an effect but unlikely in your situation.

This lights never miss a beat. The batteries are new and put 38ish volts collectively. A solid 12 on the two in use.

Appreciate all the guidance everyone!

Usually on an Ezgo when the cart quits and runs again after a cooling off period the controller is to blame.

I thought so too based on my reading here. The rebuild didn't change the situation in the least though. I expected it to be good at least for a while with the rebuild before ultimately upgrading if needed. Is that logical with your experience too?

The cart is heavy. Rear seat, roof, windshield, roof rack, etc. With only being 36 Volts. I don't have a gauge as to how it should perform beyond not shutting off.

Rebuilds are well er um junk. Not worth the money because they are not rebuilt - they are repaired. and the failure rate is high in the first 90 days and many are bad right out of the box.
I say this from experience. When I was servicing carts we quit supplying rebuilds because we were loosing time and money on the warranty work.
Get a Alltrax and be done with it.

Appreciate the candid response from someone with a high level experience, ScottyB. Does anyone know of a place that would be willing to "loan" me an alltrax for my DCS to confirm it resolves the issue before dumping more money in this thing? I'm in central Ohio.

I confirmed earlier item displayed is in fact turn signal related. Appreciate the assistance there!
