Default Main fuse recommendation and source?

Short term plans on the Precedent include a 500a Alltrax, and I just installed an older Alltrax DCX400IQ on my DS. Neither cart has a main fuse on it, so I'd like to remedy that as soon as possible. From what I read on other threads, the ANN-400 is the correct one for the 500, which would be better for the DCX? I know that GC retailers will sell them for significantly higher than an electrical supply outlet (like Waytek), is there a good source? I imagine I'll buy three or four so I have some spares.

As far as the bolt to attach the lug to it, I presume that stainless is required?

Thanks for the tips.

ETA: Is this type of holder a better idea?

I bought a few from ebay and amazon
buy the ones that come with fuses as they are as cheap as the fuses themselves.
I also use those for busbar insulator mounts.
Try a 300A fuse, getting too large a one will only protect against a short circuit.

Last time I needed a fuse I went to the local car stereo store and they had them.

I found some on Ebay for $49 for 5. It's a bit overkill, but I'd rather pay $50 for 5 than $40 for 2.

Good deal. Wasn’t sure how fast you needed it.
