will g2/g9 dash fit a g8?

Looking to put on a dash cover... everything is g-2/G9 or G-14 and up...

The G-2/G9 photos look the most like a g8 dash. Meaning the glove compartment on the left is larger than the one on the right.

Anyone have ANY info on this?
hate to blow 125 bucks and it not fit.

Sorry to say the g2/g9 frame work is quite differant than the g8 thru g14/g19/g22 series. Some companies at the time made "cheap" door covers for the storage area to the left and right of the drink holder assy. The best dashes I've ever seen were the one who took out the drink holder assy's and made there own (wood or metal) panels to fit there needs. You need to understand....The new accessories we see today did'nt start till about 1993 and thats when Yamaha came out with the new g8 frame work that has been used up to the g22. Make your own and show it off to all the "gear heads" hear. Later Dave

Sorry me bad. Miss understood post. Yes any g14/g16/g19/g22 dash will work on your g8. I originally thought you were looking for a dash for a g2/g9. Later dave
