Smile 86 CC solenoid question

I am a newbie to this site - HI ALL!!! I just purchased an 86 CC that runs OK but my son thinks the solinoids may be bad. He says that when he presses on the gas he only hears a couple of clicks. How do I check to see if the solinoids are working properly? If they need to be replaced how do I know which ones are bad. THANKS for the help!

Jack the rear of the car up and follow voltage through each solenoid as the pedal is depressed.

You can also have someone push slowly and listen for all the clicks.

If one is bad you will be getting jerky speed changes.

Thanks for the help - if 1 turns out to bad does that usually mean the others will also need to be replaced? No wonder when I start out the carts seems to jerk I guess that means at least the 1st one is bad.

Sorry for so many questions but I'm not real familiar with these golf carts. How do I know which ones are in sets. My CC has 5 solenoids.
Thanks again

The first solenoid (driver's side) activates the other 4. Each solenoid
adds speed as they click on. Hold pressure on the brake and slowly press
the accelerator and you can tell which one ('s) are shot.
