Re: 95 club car running poorly
A couple of suggestions, may have already checked. Check your intake hose from air box to carb. If cracked, can cause performance issues. Cart very picky about air fuel mixture. Also, I've worked on several carts that have black plugs and 9 times out of 10, it's a carb issue. I think you mentioned you had replaced the carb, but was it a club car carb? Not a "off the shelf" carb. I am 100% convinced that when replacing carb, you have to go with a carb from a club car dealer. I've ordered the cheaper carbs and out of 6 I've bought, 5 didn't perform correctly. Ended up buying direct from a dealer. They have a stamp on the side of them vs the cheaper ones that don't have a stamp. Since then, 100% of carbs I replace work without flaw.
Black plug tells me too rich. |

Re: 95 club car running poorly
Problem solved! after checking over all the air hoses/box for leaks, fuel lines, cleaning the carb, checking voltages, battery, fuel pump... Dang dirt daubers plugged up 4 or 5 of the the air inlets behind the choke button.
Cleaned that junk out and she's purring again. I never thought to pull the airbox off and look there. Who would? |
