Default Electric Yamaha (hot)

This is a early model yamaha 36 volt electric has what they call a wiper arm that moves each time you push pedal down gas, it runs great till you hit a hill hen cart gets warm then few mins later what I call the wiper arm it breaks off then it doesn't move again till u rrolace this

Yes a lot have one battery the post keeps getting hot as well and melting it just totally melted off the wiper at months f/r switch

Solenoid is welded in the "on" position?

So do I need to change the soloniod on it sir, cause I just put this one on this cart a couple weeks ago

Thanks cgtech the wiper arm also got hot and broke off as well all this happened the very first time as well when he brought the cart in to me. At first it would get hot like this all the time driving it I adjusted he arm on for the throttle and now you can run it wide open it won't get hot as long as you want but as soon he hits a hill he wiper arm gets extremely hot and the cart barley will run. It's real slow then he said the other day the arm broke off and the battery terminal melted on it, he said always had trouble with the battery terminals corroding up real bad, thx for your all your input you can give me.
