G8 Electric Yamaha

Friends:

I have a G8 Yamaha Electric. I want to purchase a new steering wheel. It currently still has the original golf steering wheel with the score pad on it. Do I need to look for a specific steering wheel for the G8? I see a lot of steering wheels and adapters so am I correct to assume that as long as I get the adapter with the steering wheel than they are all universal or interchangeable? I would appreciate your guidance. Thanks

The adapter needs to be for yamaha carts (not ezgo or clubcar). I hear that yamaha rhino steering wheels also fit. All yamaha golf carts used the same splines, G1-G29 Drive.

Thank you very much. So, any steering wheel will fit as long as I get the Yamaha adapter to go with it?

As long as the steering wheel is compatible with the adapter (5-hole, 6-hole, ect). Also, i bought the cheapo adapter for mine, the holes didnt line up perfectly, but it still worked (just barely).
