8.33 volts is only an 80% state of charge. If those batteries were freshly charged (and the voltage was allowed to stabilize), your batteries are limited on how much charge they will accept and are likely significantly sulfated from the previous owners lack of maintenance. If this is the case, then you should consider buying all new batteries. As you can read in this forum, a lead acid battery can be killed in under a year with poor maintenance or can last over 6 years with good maintenance / charging practices.

If your batteries were not "freshly charged", give them a fresh charge, unplug the charger and allow the voltage to stabilize for 12 to 24 hours. Then retest each battery to determine its voltage / state of charge. If your good batteries are at or near 100%, you could get away with purchasing two "used and tested good" replacement batteries to replace the bad 4-4.5 volt ones.

Or if you budget allows, replace all the batteries and with good maintenance / charging practices, you will enjoy several years of good carting.

And if you really want to "go wild", replace all the batteries with a lithium battery pack, battery management system and lithium charger.
