Default New to me G29 not charging fully

Just bought an 07 g29. 4 Trojan 12 volt batteries 18 months old. DPI charger will come on, go into charge mode and indicate charged in like 15 minutes. Pack was at 49.4? Individual batteries were 2 at 12.4 and 2 at 12.28?. Charged each individually with a 12 volt charger and now pack is after rest about 50.3/50.4. Including a pic of my charger and obviously it’s been dropped.

I think you may have found the problem lol. See if you can borrow or rent a charger before repairing/replacing that one, just to make sure.

The charger is actually coming on and working. If i monitor pack voltage while it is first plugged in it brings voltage up to about 55? so it does charge just not for very long before indicating fully charged.

I'm betting the charger is working fine, batteries are the problem...

Fully charge the batteries with the DPI charger, and monitor them while they are near the end of the charge cycle. What is the maximum voltage just before the charger turns off? Should meet or exceed 58.6v.

Then let the batteries rest 12 hours and check them again. Next is a load test while driving. When you mash the throttle, they shouldn't be dropping below 42v, if so, repeat the "full throttle test" while checking each individual battery. You should be writing all these numbers down, and a trend should emerge that will tell you what's going on.

One time watching the charger it got up to just under 60 volts. Most times only around 55-56. After charger finishes the best i have seen for the pack is 50.3 volts after 12 hours. Put volt meter on each battery while driving. all dropped to around 10.3ish from a start of around 12.3-12.1.

They're bad. 10.5v is the lowest they should be going while underway, and that should be after a long drive depleting the batteries.
