2013 YDRE G29 stock motor help!
Hello again,
I am having trouble getting my cart to work. I have 2 yamaha G29 carts. 2007 G29 12V battery system 2013 G29 8v battery system (upgraded to 8 - 6volt batteries) I am having problems with my 2013 model. installed 4awg wires and charged all batteries 51V. Brand new Navitas 440amp controller with on the fly programmer cart does run When i switch from tow to run there is no click from solenoid. when i turn on/off Key there is no click from solenoid. with switch in run position and key ON reverse buzzer works and solenoid clicks when i depress throttle but no movement. same with forward position, solenoid clicks when i depress throttle but no movement. I removed Navitas 440 controller and stock solenoid from 2013 and installed on the 2007 and everything works as it should. solenoid clicks when i switch from tow to run and clicks again when turning key switch on/off cart works perfect. put controller and solenoid back on the 2013 and same issue. No click with tow/run switch an no click with key on/off, but in run position and key on reverse buzzer works and solenoid clicks when throttle depressed but no movement. Not sure where or what to check next. The other difference between the 2007 and 2013 is the tow/run switch is different. 2007 has tow/run switch that clicks vertically and the 2013 has tow/run switch that clicks horizontally. I disconnected the tow run switch and hard wired together but still no click from solenoid. Any help greatly appreciated. @cgtech thanks |

Re: 2013 YDRE G29 stock motor help!
OK i think i figured out the problem.
Dead motor. jacked up the rear end and did a mtor test as per youtube instructions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSsSZZhIdgk what is the best replacemet motor to run with the Navitas 440 amp controller? I know most people here running alltrax but does anyone have experience with Navitas? should i return it and get the alltrax 500 instead? I would like a motor that will work well with aftermarket controller |
