Zone Electric 48V Headlights INOP
Hey. My Zone cart is new to me. I can't find a headlight switch anywhere. The horn, blinkers and brake lights work. The headlights and tail lights are not working. Does anyone know if the headlights are auto and there is not a switch? Perhaps a fuse or the lights are just inop? Thanks for any suggestions.

Should be on the collar where the turn signal/horn are. A small round knob I believe.

Hmm. Maybe it was removed because I only have the blinker arm. Pull up and it’s a horn.

When seated (driver) look/feel around the right side of the column opposite the blinker. The little screw may have come out and the knob got lost. If there is a hole on that right side it is most likely your light switch. |

Bingo! You solved this for me. I see where the switch was. Thank you everyone for the help!

I think this is a very similar switch to the zone but the plugs are different. On my 2010 Star I needed this switch so I pulled the wheel and the top cover to the switch. Then I cut the 2 wires that were attached pulled them back down the column then attached a switch to the side of the drink tray it cost about $5 and works great.

As MLJ427 suggested, you could pull the wires and add a new switch.
If it were mine I would hunt down a plastic button of some kind and and reuse the original. There should be a small screw hole in it put a longer screw in it and test if it works then decide. If the lights are LED and they go on off with the key, you could also pull the switch out and leave them on all the time until you find the right button. If Incandescent I would not due to battery drain. |
