I just copied this from the specs in the OEM manual





BATTERIES Four 12 Volt deep cycle (70 minute minimum, 140 Amp-Hour discharge rate)
SPEED CONTROLLER Solid state, 230 Amp capacity
MOTOR 3 phase AC induction
TRANSAXLE 16.99:1 Reverse helical geared with input pinion splined to the motor shaft
BRAKES Motor brake controlled by the speed control unit and service brake pedal
PARKING BRAKE Automatic parking brake function
FRONT SUSPENSION Coil springs over hydraulic shock absorbers
REAR SUSPENSION Leaf springs with hydraulic shock absorbers
STEERING Single reduction rack & pinion
STEERING WHEEL Dual handgrips, scorecard holder & pencil holder
SEATING Foam cushion with vinyl cover and hip restraints/hand holds
SEATING CAPAPCITY Operator & 1 passenger
TOTAL LOAD CAPACITY 800 lbs. (360 kg) including operator, passenger, accessor

I didn't mean to imply that I was doubting it at all - in fact just the opposite. I had remembered it being pretty high. Thanks for putting the exact figure on it.

I was mainly suggesting that the 45mph speed mentioned earlier, with stock gearing, could theoretically only be achieved using very large tires (at least 28"...) And, this is purely conjecture, but I don't think that the Navitas could spin 9K rpm with 28" tires - possibly even with 72v. A 51v supply I think would make it that much less-likely.

So based on my understanding, the 45mph mentioned has to involve some special gearing situation, and I was curious as to what it was, and what kind of loss in torque and acceleration was associated with it.

Ah yes, understood. No offence was taken. I just remembered when I setup my Navitas controller that I had to research what the axle ratio was and for some reason it stuck in my head. LOL.
