Brought An Led Battery Indicator, To Use The Key Method They Show Me To Pull Wire From The Igition Key, Do I Just Splice A Jumper To The Ignition, And If So What Wire, Number 1 Or 2 , Is Listed Behind The Key

It should be post #2 (blue wire for a DS)
A volt meter will help you in situations like this...
post #1 would be hot (48V) at all times, (with the tow/run switch to run)
Post #2 should only be hot, only when the key switch is on!

Make sure BEFORE doing any connections... have the tow/ run switch in TOW...
better yet... put the switch in TOW, and disconnect the Neg. of the pack before doing ANY connections!
