Re: rear fluid in a gas 99 club car
A gas Club Car is one of the few that does call for 80/90 gear oil .... If you are dumping it all for a change, I suggest something synthetic

Re: rear fluid in a gas 99 club car
yes you did it right, but the correct level is to get it to the bottom of the fill hole, were it will just barely flow out, not pull the plug and have it pour out. this way it wont look like its over full and try to find a way out, like wheel sealls, or the vent tube, or a weak sel holding the case together. if your really worried about it, just put a pan under it, open the fill plug and let it drain, the replace it, and voilia! cause im surer you have already drove it, to get it plashed around and mixed with the residue from the old fluid, and to fill the cavities not filled with the fill method(like the wheel bearings).
