Default 1992 club car

Had high speed gear put in my cart, ran fine for awhile now making loud noise in rear end. Carried it back to the shop, they said it was to old to mess with.
Got taken I think. Don't use Potters In Albany, Ga.

Any ideas.

Thanks
Robert

Maybe a silly question, but did they put oil in the gearbox when they were finished?

Always good to know about a truely bad shop but, in all fairness are they really the bad guys?

Thumbs down Re: 1992 club car

I can't speak for their mechanical abilities but the customer service side is just as bad. I called Potter's in Albany GA three times trying to get manuals for my 99 Carryall and never could get them to tell me how much they were or how long it would take to get them. That's a two hour drive that I won't be making!

Bring her a little south and come see us. It was either install problem, oil problem or bearing problem. Done a bunch never any noise. I have at least 5,000 miles on gears in my wifes Yami (Been drivin it to work for 3 years 10-11 months a year) still quiet as a church mouse.
