ezgo 1988 244cc robins
i order some parts for my clutch they said i needed ramp button but i took my clutch off dont see anything like that in there i see it looks like metal armes inside my clutch what do i need to take out hesatation when i take off thanks:help

Bruce, do you have any pics of your clutch? That may help with what you are asking. I am guessing you are talking about the secondary(driven clutch), wich should have the ramp buttons in there. Post up some pics and we can help more.

didnt see any old ramp buttons in my clutch.its the one with big belt around it go in and out .. had to get tool to take it off it moves in and out good i dont know how to tell u what it looks like .....bend your indx finger over into a crook it is made like that but a little thiner about 2" long and a 1/2 inch wide they are metal no place for buttons i can see........thanks for trying to help

Are you talking about the clutch on the engine or on the differential?

I believe what you are explaining is the engine clutch(primary) and the pieces that you are describing are the weights. The ramp buttons you are looking for are in the other (Driven) clutch wich is on the differential.
