Is my cart slow..or is it just me?

I have an all stock cc ds with an fe290. New drive belt. It GPS'ed at 10mph. I tried adjusting everything to get 3-4 more mph, but no luck..Seems to run great, just a bit slow..Is this the normal speed for an all stock cart? 3 to 4 mph more would be so nice. But I do not want to run without the gov or rev limiter. Would a new jet from ccp help? Any "cheap" and "safe" ideas? Thanx

Im guessing the governor is turned way down..dont know much about the cc, but my ezgo ran like 11 mph when i got it, and it now does close to 20 after governor adjustments. You dont have to do away with the governor, but you can prob just turn it up abit to get abit more speed. Not sure the procedure on a cc, but the ezgo is pretty simple.

that seems a little slow to me, but, I may be wrong. I was thinking like 12 or 13 all stock, but, maybe not. take a look at this thread for speeding up a club car. some stuff you can do without expense or fooling with the gov. or rev limiter.

stock is 10 to 12 mph........i would adjust the cable fronm black box before going after the gov. have seen to many nightmares with carts that the owner or neighbor played with the gov. its a fine line a very fine line..............you,ll get 2 to 4 by adjusting the low speed cable in the box..................................
