Should be more like 150 minimum and just rebuilt 175 lbs. Shure you took the compression test at wide open throttle?

i thought the same thing , so i feed it prob a half box of Ajax LOL ,thing that might seat the rings ,,,,,,,,,no diff at all what so ever , sonething gotta be cracked somewere i had head mag n fluxed , like i say Brand new YAMAHA valves and seated , book calls for one valve stem seal on intake , kit came with 2 so i even put both seals on valve steams , only thing i did not check was roundness of the bore , piston does have .002 clearence all way around new 50mm over piston , also book dont say or show if theres a up or down side on rings , STILL CONFUSED LOL

i got a 24 HP onan sitting on the table im not using , mabe leave stock apperance and make a sleeper out of it LOL
