Default Tire and rim size?

Does anyone know what the biggest tire and rim I can put on my 83 G1 without putting a lift kit on it or doing any modification. Would like a little more rubber with some nice wheels. Traded my 3-wheeler for a gas Yamaha.

Typically a 20 inch tire is as big as you can go with lifting the cart. Rim size can be a mater of preference as long as the tire height does not exceed 20"

Without lifting the body, you are pretty much stuck with stock wheels and tire sizes. There just isn't enough room in the wheel wells for anything larger. The G1 in the first two pix has a 1 1/2" lift (done before I got it) and I am running stock wheels with 18x9.50-8 tractor lug tires. The second two pix are my son's cart with a homemade 5" lift that does not move the front end forward. Offset 8" wheels and 20x11.00-8 tires. The front tires rub on sharp turns and I will be modifying the lift to move the front end ahead for more clearance. Last pic is my project buggy with a 4" lift that does move the front end forward about 2 1/2". I am running 20x10.00-8 tires on offset wheels with no problems. These buggies aren't fancy, but will give you some ideas of what might work for you.
