I never mixed a drop of oil for a G1. Only ran yamalube in them though, its sort of thin and cold was never a problem....had some yamaha sleds used the same thing and rode at -15F no problem at times. They take such little oil I saw no reason to use a different kind, in fact I mixed yamalube in other non injection 2 strokes it is good stuff. However given the age of these carts now I would check the injection system for wear, just my .02 but I'd never get rid of it unless I had a good reason. Some of the outboard oils are thin like that and likely would work well, though some people say they are liquid cooled oils made to run at lower temps than air cooled engines. I'm not entirely sold on that for some things, I mean a liquid engine can also have hotter combustion temps because they usually make more power and a cart is such low power I doubt it ever gets that hot. Whatever the case, only put injection oil in an injection system.
