What do you want to use the cart for? What modifications do you want to make to it? What is the budget for the project or cart?

I want something with the flip flop seat that we can cruise around while tailgating and the kids can play on in our neighborhood. Nothing real fast I guess I need more torque. As far as the budget right now I'm looking to trade a four Wheeler for it but if it comes to cash... around $3,000

Ezgo PDS TXT cart 2002 -2007 You can buy a stock cart with the seat and upgrade the drive system for that.

How do you Upgrade the drive system? Doesn't the pds have aftermarket chips? Is that what you mean?

Yes they do but that is not really an upgrade. There is no power increase just distribution changes of the existing power. Chips vary from low speed high torque to high speed low torque... but all are limited by the stock controller.

So by upgrade you mean changing the controller?

Now I know a PDS has the run/tow switch and series does not. Are the controllers interchangeable?
I am guessing not. I'm guessing the run/tow switch changes the controllers settings.
