Default Wrong way after axle swap

hey all, I broke my 36v ezgo axle ..

It's hard to find parts out here in rural northern Ontario, Canada. So i picked up a club car axle with more hp and higher voltage from the local golf course. (only one for 100+ miles lol) w/e hope it balances out.. HP/V hahahaha

Soo just got it all hooked up... it moves! But it goes backwards in forward gear! hit my face off the steering wheel

Its slow in reverse (currently forward) cause of that little switch under the f-n-r switch.. so i unhooked that and she goes the same speed both ways now

How can i fix the F-N-R switch being backwards problem? I hooked everything according to this diagram

http://electricwiringdiagram.com/wp-...ng-diagram.jpg

Thanks.. im going back to work on it now. installing 4g wires today.

Is it a series cart? Swap S1 and S2 at the F&R.

If you have a lever for F&R not a toggle switch, it is a series wound motor.

Question Re: Wrong way after axle swap

You are fine. They are the same for the same type of cart. Series to series!

Wink Re: Wrong way after axle swap

Just a note.
On some of the aftermarket motors the terminals are swaped around so if the motor turns in the opposite direction just flip the leads around.
