94 Medalist Acceleration Wiring Question
Good morning all,
I am new to this forum but have already found it very helpful. I am working on a restoration project (revived from the dump). I am down to the final stretch and have a question about the accelerator assembly. I looked in the junction box under the floor and all I can see is 1 micro switch and 2 lifted leads that went to something. Can someone tell me what I am missing? I would thing the micro switch is just to cut power and that there should be a potentiometer or something to control voltage out to the controller. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I will be posting photos of the restoration when all complete. Thanks. |

Re: 94 Medalist Acceleration Wiring Question
Hi! That part is an " ITS " coil. They are expensive new, but I'm sure someone here will have one.

How much of this are you missing? Do you have the plunger, the micro switch, the box, the sheet metal nuts? |

Re: 94 Medalist Acceleration Wiring Question
According to your photo, I am only missing the portion the plunger goes into. The rest of the assembly is there.

Re: 94 Medalist Acceleration Wiring Question
I am assuming the induction across that coil is the throttle?
