Default Anybody familiar with Zhongyu (chinese ez-go) ?

We just got in a Zhongyu chinese golf car. It looks just like an EZ-GO, body and chassis wise, but under the seat is all strange looking chinese parts.

Got it for cheap, because somebody disconnected all the dash wiring from the key switch, F/R switch, lights/signals switch, and charge meter. There's like a good 15-20 wires that have no home, and I have no schematic. Granted, I could trace wires, and make a schematic, and eventually wire it back up, but were talking at *least* 3-4 hours to do that.... Not exactly the route I would choose....

Wondering if anybody has any wiring diagrams for this strange bird?

I have a VIN number that I found, maybe that will help. It is:

HDG0400595

The first character might be a U. All the numbers are right. It was very difficult to read, rusty, half-punched numbers. This is the only number I could find.

It *might* be a star-car or fairplay, but I don't know. As of right now, all I know is its a zhongyu and it looks like an ez-go.

My experience with these chinese clones has been constant problems and lack of parts available...if any. There is very little information available on them. Even if I was given one for free, I'd try to get a few bucks for it on craigslist and buy something I could work on and get parts for.

Best of luck with it.
