Obviously I am not mechanical but I feel capable with given instruction(s).

Sounds like you have plenty of experience. Do you recommend something like this to some one like me...
http://www.cartpartsplus.com/club-ca...=ASC&limit=100

Or is this something that is not DIY if you are not mechanical?

Thanks again for all your input!!!

I had a few other random questions that I was never really certain about. You don't have to answer but I will throw em out there..

Can/should you put Super Unleaded Gas in CC Carryall Gas cart? I read on CCs website 87 octane but it doesn't say at least, most , or only...may sound stupid but curious always.

Also, can/should you ever put 1/4 of a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in with the gas similar to putting in a regular car? Stupid but always curious about this too.

Sorry... I totally missed this!

The power kit from CPP (driven/rear clutch spring upgrade) is a great addition for added torque!
BUT... some people have had troubles just removing their driven clutch! (rusted on the shaft)
and taking it apart and putting it back together may require a bit more mechanical experience,
There are 2 things you could do,
1) Have someone that's mechanically inclined to work with you, and try it yourself, Or...
2) If your driven clutch comes off easily, send it to CPP, have them machine it, and also add the spring.
(I haven't had mine done yet, but everyone here at BGW who has, swears by it!)

91 octane: it really isn't necessary!
I ran 91 in my cart for about 4 years, and with the few other added goodies I have on my engine, the plug started to foul.
I've since switched back to 87 octane, and haven't had anymore problems!
(which reminds me... I have to update one of my threads!)

Fuel additives:
I only use "Sea Foam" fuel additive, I use it in the fuel for ALL my small engines year-round! (cart included)
Not only is it a cleaner, but a fuel stabilizer also!

Hope this helps!

And Note: The only stupid questions, are the questions not asked!

How did ya get the inner race off? Mine seems to be seized. And a bearing comin apart while I was freewheeling down a hill about 30 MPH! YIKES! Couilda been a bad deal. But I haven't tried any heat yet. But thought maybe someone would know a better way. Thanks.

cut the inner bearing ring with a dremel and cut off wheel or a small die grinder as soon as you get the cut deep enough it will crack or a small chisel if it doesn't crack will get it off after you cut deep enough
