jack up the rear and jump the motor if all else is new and motor is good then its the controller

again you dont know unless you drive 4 hours

How will know if the motor is good? While it is connected do I have to press the pedal, will it run automatically?

I had one more question regarding jumping the motor. Is the key in the ON or OFF position?
The under seat switch, TOW or RUN?

you are supplying direct power to the motor, so it does not matter if you have key on or tow switch in run

you can get a rebuild controller or have that one rebuilt for under 200.00 buy it.

Go buy it. That's a decent price. Push it on the trailer and diagnose it when you get home don't waste your time checking it there.
