Default Electric Yamaha with controller Problem

we have a 2003 Yamaha Elect. Serial #JU2-207346. We think its a model G22E. We think its a controller....The controller is a Moric Model #JU2-H6510-30...Serial #3115ZE052......

We need information on how to test this Controller to make sure that is what the problem is........We also need a wiring Dia. (If possible)

also...a tech informed us that the GE 300 amp controller would replace this moric
without any alterations (Plug up and go).....Can you provided any info on this.

Thanks for your Help

Not exactaly "plug up and go", the big cables are configured different on a moric controller. Can be done pretty easy tho. There are many controllers that can plug in there and work after the cable mod is done. The difference is the moric controller manipulates the motor speed by varying the positive voltage to the motor, all the other controllers do it by varying the negative voltage to the motor.

get a wiring diagram off this website. Then, check your key switch check your tow/run switch check your F/r switch check your throttle. if all inputs are good but no output bad motor controller. if you have power out of your tow switch but solenoid does not click when you turn your tow switch on that's already a bad sign for the controller.
