Re: Front Suspension Labor Hours
+! on the rear steel bushing removal. A definite PITA.
Soak them in PB Blaster and get ready to do some heavy whacking... The front is easy and actually a lot of fun! |

Boomer, the job is done...and some of the bolts were a pain.....but PB blaster soaked over night and an impact, they didn't have a chance!!

CC, Glad to see that it went OK. I didn't have an impact wrench- when I did mine and I thought I was going to break my arm whacking on those spacers!

Re: Front Suspension Labor Hours
Good job .Hope it was a newer cart I have a 96 and man were they rusted in there even with an impact on it they wouldnt budge out of the sleeve .I thought the back ones were rough the front shackles were even worse I had to use a whiz wheel cutting disc then had to drill the rest of them out all but the bolt side the nut I got off on both sides but the actual threads were like seized in there.Omg relief its finally off waiting on new hardware.

Re: Front Suspension Labor Hours
yeah, ours is an 03 8 passenger villager.....I don't feel so bad, after reading what you guys went through....I didn't know if they had a labor hour guide line for golf cart repairs. Like a Mitchell manual with labor hours.
