Yep, you should. You can leave the 2 smaller (10g) field wires from the controller to the motor. If you didn't get them with your kit, You will also need a precharge resistor and blocking diode (nivel part numbers 409 & 411, about $13).

CGtech I'm getting the Package deal from Scotty. Getting controller and solenoid and i think it comes with all that if not i will order that to Thanks again looking forward to it.I will change my the other wire to 4gauge too

CGtech my DCX400 is coming from Alltrax Programed already,will i be able to program it myself incase i dont like the way its programed from alltrax.

Top speed, max amps, accerelation rate, regen strengths. And change motor maps for upgraded motors. There are lots of other settings, but if you have a running cart, these are the main ones of interest.

CGTech, Got i got my alltrax dcx400 and was wondering if i use the M- on my controller? and on my old solenoid there is this two wires that clips to i think is the back up buzzer not sure, but do i use that on the new solenoid? Thanks
